Hot Honey Pepperoni Ricotta Pizza (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 ball pizza dough
02 - Flour or cornmeal, for dusting

→ Toppings

03 - 120 ml tomato sauce or pizza sauce
04 - 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 60 g whole milk ricotta cheese, dolloped
06 - 20–25 slices pepperoni
07 - 15–30 ml hot honey
08 - Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
09 - Red pepper flakes, for extra heat (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 260°C or as high as possible. Place a pizza stone or heavy baking sheet inside to preheat for at least 30 minutes. Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to a 30 cm round.
02 - Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1.5 cm border. Evenly distribute shredded mozzarella across the sauce. Arrange pepperoni slices in a single layer, then add spoonfuls of ricotta cheese evenly around the pizza.
03 - Carefully transfer the prepared dough onto the preheated stone or sheet. Bake for 8–12 minutes until the crust turns golden and the cheese is bubbling and browned.
04 - Drizzle hot honey over the pizza immediately after baking. Top with fresh basil leaves and a sprinkling of red pepper flakes if desired. Slice and serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure the oven and stone are thoroughly preheated for optimal crust texture.
