Grease a piece of foil and line your 8x8 pan with it.

Heat sugar, salt, and evaporated milk in a solid saucepan over medium. Let it bubble.

Turn down the heat a bit and keep stirring for 5–6 minutes as it boils.

Off the heat, mix in marshmallows, lime zest, lime juice, and chocolate until smooth and creamy.

Evenly pour mixture into the pan and let it fully set and cool.

Slice into little 1-inch pieces.
