Combine mayonnaise, mustard, and dried dill in a small bowl. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate until needed.
02 -
Add 1 tablespoon of butter to a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onion and salt, stirring occasionally until softened and deeply golden. Remove the onions from the pan and set aside.
03 -
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the skillet. Pour in the beaten eggs and cook, stirring gently, until softly scrambled. Divide into two equal portions and keep warm.
04 -
Place shaved steak in a bowl. Add Worcestershire sauce and Montreal steak seasoning, tossing to coat the steak evenly.
05 -
Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter in the skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned shaved steak, stirring frequently until just browned. Return the sautéed onions to the skillet, mixing with steak. Separate into two equal mounds. Top each with a slice of American cheese and allow to melt.
06 -
Lightly toast the bagels in a toaster or on the skillet until golden brown.
07 -
Spread prepared sauce generously on both cut sides of each bagel. Layer half of the scrambled eggs onto the bottom half, top with the steak, onion, and cheese mixture, and close with the top half of the bagel. Serve immediately.
