Beef Bowtie Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 8 oz farfalle pasta (bowtie shape)
03 - 1 tbsp olive oil
04 - 1 small onion, chopped
05 - 2 cloves garlic, crushed
06 - 1 cup beef broth
07 - 1 cup heavy cream
08 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
09 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 1 tsp paprika
11 - Salt & pepper, as needed
12 - Fresh parsley, for topping (if you want)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the bowtie pasta following the box directions. Drain water and put aside.
02 - Warm olive oil in a big skillet on medium heat. Cook the chopped onion until soft, around 3-4 minutes. Toss in garlic and cook another minute. Add the beef and cook till no pink remains. Pour off extra fat.
03 - Add beef broth and let it bubble. Mix in the heavy cream, both cheeses, and paprika. Keep stirring until cheese melts and everything gets thick.
04 - Toss in the cooked pasta with the meat and sauce. Stir so all pasta gets covered in the creamy mix. Add salt and pepper how you like it.
05 - Sprinkle with fresh parsley if you want, and dig in!

01 - Try ground turkey or lean beef for fewer calories
02 - Throw in some spinach or chopped peppers to make it healthier
