Berry Tiramisu Twist (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Berry Sauce

01 - 3/4 cup white sugar
02 - 1 1/2 cups assorted berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
03 - 1 1/2 cups plain water

→ Dessert Layers

04 - 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
05 - 2 cups thick whipping cream
06 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
07 - 1 cup sliced fresh berries
08 - 1 package of ladyfinger cookies

# Instructions:

01 - Heat sugar and water in a pot. Stir in berries, let it boil gently, lower heat, simmer for 10 minutes, strain, and let cool.
02 - Whip powdered sugar with heavy cream until thick and fluffy. Then, fold in mascarpone until smooth.
03 - In a square pan, arrange ladyfingers coated in syrup at the bottom, add half the mascarpone cream, and spread sliced berries.
04 - Repeat the process, using the rest of the cream and ladyfingers on top.
05 - Cover with foil and let it chill in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. Decorate with extra berries before serving.

01 - Great if prepped the night before and refrigerated.
