Cheese Wontons Cream Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 226 grams cream cheese, softened
02 - 2 tablespoons chopped scallions
03 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 0.25 teaspoon granulated sugar

→ Wonton Assembly

06 - 24 wonton wrappers
07 - Water, for sealing wrappers

→ For Frying

08 - Vegetable oil, for deep frying

# Instructions:

01 - Combine softened cream cheese, chopped scallions, soy sauce, garlic powder, and sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Stir until fully blended and smooth.
02 - Place a wonton wrapper on a clean, flat surface. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of the wrapper.
03 - Moisten the edges of the wrapper lightly with water using your finger. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, pressing the edges together to seal firmly and expel any air pockets.
04 - Continue filling and sealing remaining wonton wrappers using the same method until all filling has been used.
05 - Pour vegetable oil into a deep skillet or fryer and heat to 175°C.
06 - Fry wontons in small batches for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until crisp and golden brown.
07 - Remove wontons from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your preferred dipping sauce.
