Cheesy Baked Asparagus Garlic (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 500 g asparagus, woody ends trimmed
02 - 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
03 - 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic (approximately 4 cloves)
04 - 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
05 - 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
06 - 1 1/4 cups (about 125 g) finely shredded mozzarella cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C. Lightly coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
02 - Place asparagus spears in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
03 - In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir thoroughly to blend.
04 - Drizzle garlic and olive oil mixture evenly over the asparagus, ensuring all spears are well coated.
05 - Roast asparagus in the oven for 10–15 minutes, until spears are vibrant and tender.
06 - Remove tray from the oven. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly across asparagus. Return to oven on broil or grill setting and cook for 4–5 minutes, until cheese is melted and golden.
07 - Adjust salt and pepper to taste if desired. Serve immediately for optimal texture.
