Cheesy Baked Onion Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dip

01 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese (regular or light works fine)
02 - 1 cup mayo (feel free to use light version)
03 - 6-8 ounces shredded cheese, split (try Blarney Castle or something similar)
04 - 1 big sweet Vidalia onion, chopped up (roughly 1 heaping cup)
05 - 1 teaspoon black pepper, add more if you want
06 - ½ teaspoon salt, adjust to your taste
07 - ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, skip it or add more as you like

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 350°F. Give a 9-inch pie dish a quick spray with cooking oil.
02 - Grab a big bowl and throw in everything except keep ½ cup cheese aside for the top.
03 - Dump the mixture into your oiled dish and even it out. Scatter the leftover cheese on top.
04 - Pop it in the oven for 45-50 minutes until it's golden and bubbling how you like it.
05 - Let it cool for a bit before you dig in with chips, veggies, or your favorite crackers.

# Notes:

01 - No gluten here (just double-check your product labels)
02 - Works great with light cream cheese and mayo too
03 - Tastes way better when it's warm
