Creamy Mushroom Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup Land O Lakes® Butter, split in portions
02 - 2 cloves fresh garlic, finely chopped
03 - 16 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
04 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream
05 - 1 pound fettuccine pasta
06 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
07 - 1 cup pasta cooking water, saved
08 - 1 teaspoon salt, plus extra if needed
09 - freshly ground black pepper
10 - chopped parsley for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Melt 2 tablespoons butter and cook garlic with mushrooms until they turn dark brown, about 10-15 minutes. Pour in cream and add leftover butter, let bubble gently.
02 - Follow package instructions to cook fettuccine. Make sure to keep 1 cup of the cooking water before you drain it.
03 - Pour your mushroom mixture over pasta, gently toss while adding Parmesan and a splash of cooking water as needed. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

01 - Feel free to throw in more mushrooms for mushroom lovers
02 - Use pasta water to thin out sauce if it gets too thick
