Marry Me Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crispy Salmon

01 - 4 salmon fillets, skin removed
02 - 2 tsp Italian herbs
03 - 1 tsp garlic powder
04 - 1 tsp salt
05 - 2 tbsp olive oil
06 - 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
07 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
08 - 1/2 tsp dried oregano

→ Creamy Sauce

09 - 3 tbsp unsalted butter
10 - 1/2 tbsp garlic, finely minced
11 - 1/2 cup chicken stock
12 - 1 cup thick cream
13 - 2 tbsp softened cream cheese
14 - 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
15 - Salt and pepper, adjust as needed
16 - 1/2 to 3/4 cup shredded parmesan
17 - 2 tbsp chopped basil leaves
18 - 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Place salmon on a dish. Pour olive oil on top, then sprinkle with Italian herbs, garlic powder, salt, oregano, black pepper, and chili flakes.
02 - Warm a skillet with oil over medium-high heat. Fry salmon on each side for 3 minutes until golden and crispy. Lower heat and cook through before removing it.
03 - In the same pan on medium heat, melt butter. Stir in garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
04 - Pour in cream, lemon juice, and chicken stock. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes. Mix in cream cheese and parmesan until smooth and thickened. Taste and add salt or pepper if needed.
05 - Toss in parsley and basil. Place the salmon back into the sauce and let it warm up for another minute or two before plating.

03 - Adjust parmesan to make the sauce thinner or thicker
