Buttery Garlic Sausage Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sausage with Garlic Butter

01 - 1 pound Italian or smoked sausage, cut into rounds
02 - 3 tablespoons butter
03 - 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

→ Pasta in Cream Sauce

06 - 12 ounces penne or fettuccine pasta
07 - 2 tablespoons butter
08 - 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
09 - 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
10 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Garnish & Seasonings

11 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
12 - Salt to suit your taste
13 - Chopped fresh parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil and cook sliced sausage until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Take out from pan.
02 - In the same pan, melt the butter, throw in the garlic and cook until fragrant for 1-2 minutes. Put sausage back and mix with seasonings.
03 - Cook pasta in well-salted water till just firm to bite. Drain and put aside.
04 - In a pan, melt butter, pour in cream and add garlic powder. Stir in Parmesan until it's all melted. Add salt and pepper as you like.
05 - Mix pasta with the creamy sauce, add the sausage on top. Sprinkle with parsley and extra Parmesan.

01 - Grate your own Parmesan for the creamiest sauce
02 - Save some pasta cooking water to thin out thick sauce
03 - Try adding spinach or sliced mushrooms for extra flavor
