Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
02 - 12 ounces of Brussels sprouts.
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
05 - Dash of optional red pepper flakes.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the sprout heads in half down the middle after trimming their stems and peeling the outer leaves.
02 - Submerge the halved sprouts in hot water from the tap. Wait 15 minutes.
03 - Turn your air fryer on and set it to 375°F.
04 - Once drained, toss sprouts with pepper, olive oil, salt, and red pepper flakes (if you like some heat).
05 - Spread the sprouts in one even layer in the air fryer basket. At 375°F, cook them for 12 minutes. Give them a shake halfway through.
06 - Move the crispy sprouts onto a dish and enjoy while they’re still warm.

# Notes:

01 - Soaking takes away bitterness and helps the sprouts cook better.
02 - If your air fryer is small, fry in portions or cook longer, shaking more often.
