Effortless Chicken Rice Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 5 skinless chicken thighs with bones still in.
02 - 1 chopped-up onion.
03 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
04 - 2 tablespoons of butter.
05 - 1 and 1/2 cups of uncooked white rice.
06 - 1 and 1/2 cups chicken broth.
07 - 1 1/4 cups plain water.
08 - 1 teaspoon of paprika powder.
09 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder seasoning.
11 - 1/2 teaspoon onion seasoning powder.
12 - 3/4 teaspoon table salt.
13 - Black pepper, sprinkle as you like.
14 - Cooking oil spray.
15 - Fresh parsley for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn oven to 350°F. Melt butter with onions inside a 9x13 pan. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
02 - Combine all seasoning ingredients. Rub over the chicken, making sure it’s spread evenly.
03 - Combine the rice with the onions. Add water, stock, and chopped garlic, stirring it all together.
04 - Lay chicken pieces on top of the rice. Cover with foil and bake for half an hour.
05 - Take off foil, spray the chicken with oil, and bake for another 20 minutes until the meat is cooked through and rice is soft.

# Notes:

01 - Any standard long-grain rice works.
02 - You can use thighs without bones—just cook for less time.
