02 - 680-900 g ground beef
03 - 305 g canned cheddar cheese soup
04 - 305 g canned cream of chicken soup
05 - 340 ml evaporated milk
06 - 113 g canned diced green chilies
07 - 200-300 g shredded Mexican cheese blend
08 - 1 packet taco seasoning (optional)

→ Optional Toppings

09 - Sour cream
10 - Diced green onion
11 - Sliced cherry tomatoes
12 - Sliced avocado or guacamole
13 - Salsa

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
02 - In a large pan over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking up the meat as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
03 - If using, add taco seasoning to the beef according to packet instructions and stir to combine.
04 - Stir in cheddar cheese soup, cream of chicken soup, evaporated milk, and diced green chilies. Mix thoroughly.
05 - Cook beef and sauce mixture over medium heat, stirring regularly until the mixture is bubbling.
06 - Coat a baking dish with non-stick spray to prevent sticking.
07 - Scatter half of the Doritos over the base of the baking dish, lightly crushing large pieces for an even layer.
08 - Spoon half of the meat mixture evenly over the Doritos. Sprinkle with one cup of shredded Mexican cheese.
09 - Create a second layer using remaining Doritos, followed by the rest of the meat mixture and another cup of cheese.
10 - Transfer baking dish to oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and casserole is heated throughout.
11 - Remove from oven and, if desired, garnish with sour cream, diced green onion, sliced cherry tomatoes, avocado or guacamole, and salsa before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Lightly crushing the Doritos helps create a stable base without turning them into crumbs. Adjust cheese quantities to preference.
