Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 40 sticks of pretzels.
02 - 16 ounces of top-notch chocolate.
03 - 1/2 portion of caramel made at home or a store-bought bag.

# Instructions:

01 - Spread parchment on two trays. Cook or soften your caramel, then set it aside for 15 minutes to cool.
02 - Drizzle caramel over pretzel rods using a spoon. Let any extra drip off, shape caramel if needed, then rest on parchment.
03 - Soften chocolate using a microwave. Heat at half power, stirring every 30 seconds until it's silky.
04 - Pour liquid chocolate into a tall glass. Dunk the caramel-covered pretzels, smoothing them out as needed.
05 - Sprinkle on toppings while the chocolate is soft. Let everything firm up on the parchment before moving.

# Notes:

01 - Sturdy pretzel brands like Snyder's work best.
02 - Pick high-end baking chocolate instead of chips.
03 - You can prepare these up to seven days in advance.
