Effortless Chicken Paprikash (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 medium yellow onion, finely diced.
02 - 2 garlic cloves, chopped small.
03 - 2 tablespoons of Hungarian sweet paprika.
04 - 1½ pounds of chicken thighs or breasts, cubed.
05 - 3 tablespoons flour, split in use.
06 - 4 tablespoons butter, divided.
07 - Salt and black pepper, adjust to your taste.
08 - 2 cups chicken broth, reduced sodium.
09 - ¾ cup sour cream, full fat preferred.
10 - 1 tablespoon parsley, freshly minced.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine 1 tablespoon paprika with 1½ tablespoons flour and toss with the chicken pieces.
02 - Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a pan, brown chicken till golden and cooked through. Take out and set aside.
03 - In the same pan, cook onions in the rest of the butter until softened. Toss in garlic and let it cook for another 60 seconds. Add leftover flour and paprika, stirring for 2 minutes.
04 - Stir in broth slowly, let it simmer until it thickens. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
05 - With the heat on low, mix in sour cream gently. Add chicken and its juices back in. Sprinkle parsley on top before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Both bone-in and boneless chicken work well.
02 - Pick full-fat sour cream for the creamiest sauce.
03 - Keep the heat super low when mixing in sour cream.
