Giant Chocolate Valentine Cookie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Foundation

01 - 2 tablespoons (28g) soft unsalted butter
02 - 2 tablespoons (25g) white sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons (25g) dark sugar
04 - 2 tablespoons (30ml) whisked egg
05 - 1/2 teaspoon real vanilla extract
06 - 1/4 cup (31g) regular flour
07 - 2 tablespoons (10g) plain cocoa powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
09 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Add-ins and Toppings

10 - 1/4 cup (55g) dark chocolate chips plus 1 tablespoon for garnish
11 - 2 teaspoons festive Valentine's decorations (if desired)

# Instructions:

01 - Beat the butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add the beaten egg and vanilla, then stir well.
02 - In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture. Stir in 1/4 cup chocolate chips.
03 - Let dough rest in fridge while your oven warms up to 350°F.
04 - Put dough on your lined cookie sheet in a tall heap. Stick remaining chocolate chips and decorations on top.
05 - Pop in oven for 18-22 minutes until the sides look done but middle seems gooey. Let sit 5-10 minutes before eating.
