Green Onion Korean Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 5 tbsp cooking oil

→ Pancake Batter

02 - 1 cup packed green onions
03 - ¼ cup plain flour
04 - ¼ cup potato starch or cornstarch
05 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
06 - ⅛ teaspoon salt
07 - ½ teaspoon chicken stock powder
08 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
10 - ½ cup ice-cold water

→ Dipping Sauce

11 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
12 - 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
13 - ½ tablespoon sesame oil
14 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion

# Instructions:

01 - Wash green onions and dry them well. Cut them down the middle lengthwise then into 1.5 inch chunks.
02 - Combine the green onions with all the batter stuff and stir until barely mixed together.
03 - Warm up oil in a big non-stick skillet. Scatter green onions evenly, then pour your batter on top. Let it cook till it's golden underneath, around 3 minutes.
04 - Turn it over, add what's left of your oil, and cook another 2-3 minutes till it's nice and crispy.
05 - Slice into squares or wedges. Stir all the dipping sauce ingredients together and enjoy with your pancake.

# Notes:

01 - Super cold water makes your pancake crunchier
02 - Never swap potato starch for rice flour
