Effortless Air Fryer Hamburgers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 buns for hamburgers.
02 - Lettuce leaves for topping.
03 - Slices of a fresh tomato.
04 - Red onion rings.
05 - 4 ounces of Cheddar, cut into slices.
06 - 1 pound of ground beef.
07 - 1/2 cup of mayo.
08 - 2 tablespoons of pickle bits.
09 - 2 tablespoons of ketchup.
10 - 3/4 teaspoon of kosher salt.
11 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper.
12 - Non-stick cooking spray.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine mayo, ketchup, and pickles in a small bowl. Chill it until you're ready.
02 - Split the beef into three parts. Shape into discs about half an inch thick—make a small dent in the center with your thumb.
03 - Sprinkle some salt and pepper over both sides of the patties.
04 - Pour a cup of water at the bottom of the air fryer. Spray the basket lightly with cooking spray.
05 - Set air fryer to 350°F and cook patties for 8 minutes. Toss on the cheese, let it melt for 1-2 extra minutes.
06 - Pop the buns in the air fryer for one minute if you like 'em toasted.
07 - Stack patties with sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion between the buns.

# Notes:

01 - You don't need to flip patties while they cook.
02 - Water in the fryer stops it from smoking.
