Crank the oven up to 450°F. If your chicken wings are damp, blot them with paper towels to dry them off.

Mix baking powder, starch, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder with the wings, making sure they're evenly covered.

Line a sheet pan with parchment and spray a little oil on it. Spread the wings out in one layer, spritzing more oil over the tops.

Drop the oven heat to 425°F and bake for 35–40 minutes. Turn them over halfway, spraying a touch more oil after flipping.

In a small pan over medium heat, combine garlic, lemon zest, honey, butter, salt, pepper, and the juice from your lemon. Stir everything together and let it bubble softly for a few minutes. Want a dip? Set a bit of it aside.

Take the baked wings, toss them into a bowl, and pour the honey-lemon sauce all over. Mix until the wings are coated well.
