Mint Chocolate Pie Easy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

β†’ Oreo Cookie Base

01 - 6 tablespoons melted butter, unsalted
02 - 20 crushed Oreo cookies

β†’ Minty Chocolate Filling

03 - 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping, thaw slightly
04 - 5 Hershey's milk chocolate bars (1.55 oz each)
05 - Green food dye (3-4 drops)
06 - ΒΌ teaspoon of mint flavoring

β†’ Decorations

07 - Crushed candy canes (from 3 pieces)
08 - 3 ground Oreos
09 - 1 cup cream for whipping
10 - Powdered sugar (3 tablespoons)

# Instructions:

01 - Blend Oreos into crumbs using a food processor. Combine crumbs with melted butter, then press mixture evenly inside the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
02 - Microwave or gently melt chocolate bars over simmering water. Divide whipped topping into two batches, and stir melted chocolate completely into one batch.
03 - In the second half of the whipped topping, blend in mint extract and color it green with a few drops of dye. Stir until smooth.
04 - Spread the chocolate mix across the base, then neatly cover with the mint one. Cool it down in the fridge for at least 3 hours, or freeze it for 2 hours.
05 - Whip cream with powdered sugar till it's thick and fluffy. Pipe cream around the edges, then scatter crushed candy canes and Oreo crumbs on top before serving.
