Pan Roasted Sausage Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 green bell pepper, sliced into thick strips about ¾-inch wide
02 - 1 red bell pepper, chopped into ¾-inch strips
03 - ½ yellow onion, sliced into thick ¾-inch pieces
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
06 - 1 (20-ounce) package mild Italian pork sausage links, 5 count
07 - 5 toasted hoagie rolls

→ Honey Mustard Sauce

08 - ⅓ cup mayo
09 - 1 tablespoon grainy mustard
10 - 1 tablespoon honey
11 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 425°F with the rack right in the middle.
02 - Toss the peppers and onion on a big sheet pan with edges. Pour the oil over them, sprinkle with salt and mix it all together.
03 - Put the sausages between all the veggies and cook until they're hot through (or totally done if you've got raw ones), for about 30 minutes.
04 - While that's cooking, mix mayo, mustard, honey, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
05 - Stuff the sausages in the rolls, pile on the veggies, and add a good splash of the honey mustard mix. Eat while hot.
