Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Donuts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough and Filling

01 - 8 refrigerated biscuit dough rounds
02 - 120 grams cream cheese, softened
03 - 40 grams powdered sugar, plus extra for dusting
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 8 tablespoons strawberry preserves

→ For Frying

06 - 750 millilitres vegetable oil

# Instructions:

01 - Combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is creamy and homogeneous.
02 - Flatten each biscuit round into a 7.5 cm circle using clean hands or a rolling pin.
03 - Place 1 tablespoon of strawberry preserves and a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the centre of each dough circle. Fold into a half-moon and pinch the edges firmly to seal.
04 - Heat vegetable oil in a deep saucepan to 175°C. Fry donuts seam-side down in batches for 2–3 minutes per side or until uniformly golden brown.
05 - Transfer fried donuts onto paper towels to drain excess oil. Cool briefly, then dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
