Tender Chicken Soak (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Marinade

01 - 2 cups fizzy citrus soda (grapefruit or lemon-lime)
02 - 1/2 cup soy sauce
03 - 2 tablespoons sesame oil
04 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
05 - 3 tablespoons ready-made horseradish
06 - 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
07 - 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger

→ Chicken

08 - 4 pounds chicken thighs or breasts

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the soda, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, horseradish, garlic, and ginger together in a big bowl until well combined.
02 - Put chicken into the liquid mixture. Wrap and stick in the fridge for anywhere from 4 to 24 hours.
03 - Fire up your grill or warm your skillet to medium-high (around 400°F).
04 - Take chicken out of the marinade and cook it until it reaches 165°F inside. Let it sit for 5 minutes before you dig in.

01 - Chicken without bones will cook quicker than pieces with bones
02 - This works for all chicken parts you might want to use
