→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 cup sliced Baby Portabello Mushrooms
02 - 1 Onion, cut into thin slices
03 - 1 1/3 pounds Ground Beef (lean)
04 - 1 tablespoon Steak Seasoning
05 - 3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce, split
06 - 1 teaspoon Onion Flakes, dried
07 - 1 teaspoon Parsley, dried
08 - 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (Italian or Plain)
09 - 1 Egg
10 - 3 tablespoons Cornstarch, split
11 - 2 cups Beef Broth
12 - 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Coat a big 6-quart oval slow cooker with cooking spray. Drop the sliced onions and mushrooms in the bottom.
02 - Get your beef mix ready. Throw together the ground beef, steak seasoning, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, dried onion flakes, parsley, breadcrumbs and egg. Stir it all up.
03 - Split the mix into 4-6 portions. Flatten each into oval patties, then put them in the cooker. Don't stack them, just lay them out evenly.
04 - Combine 2 cups beef broth, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and pour over the patties. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
05 - When cooking's done, lift the steaks out of the slow cooker.
06 - Mix one tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water in a small bowl. Pour this mix into the gravy left in the cooker. Stir until it thickens up.
07 - Put each steak on a plate with the mushroom and onion gravy poured on top. Goes great with egg noodles or mashed potatoes. Dig in!

# Notes:

01 - Skip the extra tablespoon of cornstarch and water if your gravy's thick enough already
02 - Tastes amazing over mashed potatoes or egg noodles
