Crispy Air Fryer Tofu (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 16 oz block of extra-firm tofu.
02 - 2 tsp soy sauce (low sodium).
03 - 1 1/2 tsp rice vinegar.
04 - 1 tsp Sriracha chili sauce.
05 - 1 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil.
06 - Grated garlic clove, one large.
07 - 1 1/4 tsp ginger, freshly grated.
08 - 2 tsp granulated sugar.
09 - 1/4 tsp ground black pepper.
10 - 1/4 cup of cornstarch.
11 - Cooking oil spray.
12 - Salt, added to taste.
13 - Sesame seeds and chopped scallions for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Grab some towels and wrap your tofu. Put it in a dish with something heavy on top to squash out extra water. Wait 15 minutes.
02 - In a bowl, stir together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, chili sauce, garlic, ginger, sugar, and pepper.
03 - Chop the pressed tofu into 32 squares. Cover them in the marinade and gently mix. Let them chill for 15 minutes.
04 - Take each tofu cube and give it a light coat of cornstarch. Shake off extra to keep it even.
05 - Set the air fryer temperature to 400°F. Spray the basket lightly to prevent sticking.
06 - Lay tofu in one layer, giving them a light spray. Fry for 5 minutes, flip, spray again, and fry another 5 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
07 - Add a pinch of salt if you'd like. Sprinkle on sesame seeds and green onions. Serve them warm with dipping sauce on the side if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - If you want dipping sauce, double the sauce ingredients and set half aside before adding tofu.
02 - You can refrigerate cooked tofu in a sealed container for up to 4 days.
