Grab some towels and wrap your tofu. Put it in a dish with something heavy on top to squash out extra water. Wait 15 minutes.

In a bowl, stir together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, chili sauce, garlic, ginger, sugar, and pepper.

Chop the pressed tofu into 32 squares. Cover them in the marinade and gently mix. Let them chill for 15 minutes.

Take each tofu cube and give it a light coat of cornstarch. Shake off extra to keep it even.

Set the air fryer temperature to 400°F. Spray the basket lightly to prevent sticking.

Lay tofu in one layer, giving them a light spray. Fry for 5 minutes, flip, spray again, and fry another 5 minutes until crispy and golden brown.

Add a pinch of salt if you'd like. Sprinkle on sesame seeds and green onions. Serve them warm with dipping sauce on the side if you'd like.
