# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 cup softened butter
02 - 2 cups sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon salt
04 - 4 large eggs at room temperature
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - ¼ teaspoon almond extract
07 - 3 cups all-purpose flour

→ Filling

08 - 2 cans (21 ounces each) cherry pie filling

→ Glaze

09 - 1 cup powdered sugar
10 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
11 - ½ teaspoon almond extract
12 - 2-3 tablespoons 2% milk

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F. Beat butter with sugar and salt until it's fluffy and light in color, about 5-7 minutes. Add eggs one by one, then mix in the extracts. Slowly add flour while mixing
02 - Spread 3 cups of the mixture into a greased 15x10x1-inch pan. Pour cherry filling on top. Take the leftover dough and drop small spoonfuls over the cherries
03 - Pop it in the oven for 35-40 minutes until you see a nice golden color. Let it cool completely on a wire rack while still in the pan
04 - Stir together powdered sugar, extracts, and just enough milk to make it runny. Drizzle this sweet mixture all over the cooled treat

# Notes:

01 - Easy to carry to parties and potlucks
02 - Works great for beginner and expert bakers alike
