# Ingredients:

01 - 6 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
02 - 1¼ teaspoons ground cinnamon
03 - ¼ cup packed brown sugar

08 - ⅓ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

→ Cake Mixture

10 - 2½ cups all-purpose flour
11 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
12 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
13 - ½ teaspoon salt
14 - ¾ cup soft unsalted butter
15 - 1¼ cups white sugar
16 - ¼ cup brown sugar
17 - 3 large eggs, not cold
18 - 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
19 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
20 - 1¼ cups sour cream
21 - ½ cup walnuts, optional
22 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Start by mixing cinnamon, salt, sugars, and ginger in a bowl. Add melted butter, stir in flour, chocolate chips, and walnuts if using.
02 - Turn the oven to 350°F. Coat a 9 x 3-inch round baking pan or springform pan with grease and a dusting of flour.
03 - Stir together baking powder, flour, soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
04 - Whip butter and sugars until creamy. Beat in eggs one after the other, then blend in sour cream, lemon juice, and vanilla. Slowly add the dry mix, finishing with chocolate chips and walnuts if you're using them.
05 - Pour batter in the pan, sprinkle with streusel. Bake 45 minutes, cover loosely with foil, then bake another 40 to 50 minutes. Let it cool for half an hour before cutting.
