Crispy Seasoned Sweet Cubes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 2 pounds red Garnet or Jewel yams (sweet potatoes)
02 - 2 tablespoons avocado oil or extra-virgin olive oil
03 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup (skip if you want)
04 - ¾ teaspoon kosher salt or sea salt OR ½ teaspoon regular salt
05 - ½ teaspoon chili powder
06 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
07 - ½ teaspoon paprika
08 - ½ teaspoon cinnamon
09 - ¼ teaspoon pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 425°F. Put parchment paper on a big 15x21 baking tray (or grab two smaller trays instead).
02 - Take the skin off your sweet potatoes and dice them into ½-inch chunks. If they roll around, slice a bit off the bottom so they stay put. First cut them into ½-inch slices, then chop those into cubes.
03 - Dump the cubes onto your baking sheet and mix them with the oil, maple syrup, and all your spices until they're coated.
04 - Lay the potatoes out flat with space between each piece so they don't crowd each other.
05 - Bake at 425°F for about 25-35 minutes, making sure to flip the sweet potatoes around at the 15-minute mark.

# Notes:

01 - You can skip the maple syrup
02 - Make these ahead if you need to
