Ham Cheese Crescent Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pastry

01 - 1 can (about 235 g) refrigerated crescent roll dough

→ Filling

02 - 16 slices deli ham
03 - 4 slices cheddar cheese, each slice cut into four strips

→ Topping

04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic salt
06 - 0.25 teaspoon dried parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or apply non-stick spray.
02 - Open the crescent roll can and unroll the dough on a flat surface. Separate into triangles along perforated lines. Using a knife, cut cheddar cheese slices into four even strips each.
03 - Layer each triangle with a strip of cheese, two slices of ham, and another strip of cheese. Roll each triangle tightly from the base to the tip, forming a croissant shape. Arrange evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
04 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter for approximately 15 seconds. Stir in garlic salt and dried parsley until fully combined.
05 - Brush the tops of the crescent rolls lightly with the prepared garlic butter mixture using a pastry brush.
06 - Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 14–16 minutes, until rolls are golden brown. Bake longer for a crispier texture if desired.
07 - Remove from oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Allowing the rolls to cool before serving enhances texture and safety.
