# Ingredients:

01 - 4 slices thick-cut French bread or Texas toast
02 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

→ Steak Preparation

06 - 300 g ribeye, sirloin, or flank steak
07 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
08 - 1 tablespoon butter
09 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
10 - Salt, to taste
11 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Toppings

12 - 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese
13 - 50 g shredded cheddar cheese or provolone
14 - 1/2 onion, thinly sliced (optional)
15 - 1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)

→ Garnish

16 - Fresh parsley, chopped
17 - Red pepper flakes

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, and garlic powder if using until thoroughly combined.
02 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Spread the garlic butter evenly over one side of each bread slice and arrange them buttered-side up on a baking tray. Bake for 6–8 minutes until edges are golden and crisp. Set aside.
03 - Generously season steak on both sides with salt and black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and butter, then sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare or until desired doneness. Add Worcestershire sauce in the final minute, if desired.
04 - Remove cooked steak from skillet and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Slice thinly against the grain for optimal tenderness.
05 - In the same skillet, sauté sliced onion and green bell pepper for 3–4 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized.
06 - Arrange sliced steak atop each garlic toast. Sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and add sautéed onion and pepper if desired.
07 - Transfer assembled toasts to oven and broil on high for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown. Monitor closely to prevent burning.
08 - Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley and a pinch of red pepper flakes if preferred. Serve immediately while hot.

# Notes:

01 - Allow steak to rest before slicing to retain juices and maximize flavor.
