# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 3 3/4 - 4 1/4 cups regular flour, split
02 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1/2 teaspoon fine kosher salt
04 - 1 tablespoon active dry yeast powder
05 - 6 tablespoons softened butter
06 - 3/4 cup milk, warmed to 110-115 degrees F
07 - 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
08 - 2 teaspoons fresh lemon zest
09 - 2 large eggs at room temp

→ Filling

10 - 1 (13-oz.) container of Nutella spread
11 - 6 ounces broken pistachio halva chunks
12 - 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

→ Optional Sugar Glaze

13 - 1/2 cup white sugar
14 - 1/2 cup fresh water
15 - 2 tablespoons melted butter

# Instructions:

01 - Grab your mixer bowl and stir together 1.5 cups flour with the sugar, salt and yeast. Work in your soft butter until everything looks crumbly.
02 - Get your milk to 110-115°F. Dump in the vanilla, warm milk and lemon zest with your dry stuff. Mix until everything's wet.
03 - Toss in the eggs and beat for around 2 minutes. Slowly mix in the leftover flour until you've got a solid dough. Knead it on a floured counter for 5-7 minutes till it feels smooth.
04 - Drop the dough in a greased bowl and flip it to get grease all over. Cover and leave it somewhere warm for an hour or until it's twice as big.
05 - Cut your dough into 8 chunks. Roll each piece into a 10x5-inch flat rectangle. Smear with Nutella, scatter halva bits and drop chocolate chips on top. Roll it up, slice down the middle lengthwise, twist the strips, and tie into knots.
06 - Let your shaped knots rest for 30 minutes. Pop in a 375°F oven for 15-20 minutes till they turn golden brown. If you want, brush with sugar glaze while they're still hot.
